Stringent security, restricted access, night working, remote storage, an unpredictable listed building environment and the need to keep existing facilities operational were all part of C&C’s experience during the testing refurbishment of the House of Lords Refreshment Department.
The fit out of the main production kitchen, servery, bars and cold stores was one of C&C’s largest value projects at that point. Another scheme carried out by C&C at the Palace of Westminster was the new catering facility in the House of Commons Press Room which were designed by Winton Nightingale.
